Kevin Gibbs

Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Kevin is a hands-on engineering leader and serial entrepreneur. He previously founded Quip, acquired by Salesforce in 2016, and went on to grow the business to over $100M in ARR. Earlier in his career, he was an engineering leader at Google, where he created autocomplete for Google Search and launched Google App Engine, the company’s first cloud computing platform.

Nat Robinson

Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer

Nat is a serial social entrepreneur and lawyer. He founded an award-winning agriculture microfinance company serving low-income smallholder farmers in rural Kenya, and later launched Leaf, a blockchain-based digital wallet with more than 100,000 customers across ten African countries. He recently sold Leaf to IDT (NYSE: IDT).

Greg D’Alesandre

Co-Founder & Chief Carbon Officer

Spanning multiple industries, Greg has deep knowledge and experience in running products at Google as well as building out one of the world’s premier craft chocolate brands: Dandelion Chocolate. He has worked with entrepreneurs all over the world to build new approaches to complex problems.

Nathan Royston

Director of Site Development

Nathan brings more than 15 years of experience in international supply chains, operations, and manufacturing across both for-profit and nonprofit organizations. His career highlights include scaling a nationally distributed, best-in-class chocolate company; leading warehousing and logistics across East Africa; and serving as an executive advisor to multiple social impact organizations.

Professor of Earth Systems Science, Stanford

Kate Maher is a Professor of Earth System Science at Stanford University and a Senior Fellow at the Woods Institute for the Environment. Her research focuses on biogeochemical processes, carbon cycling, and climate change mitigation strategies, with a particular interest in soil systems. She has contributed extensively to understanding how mineral-organic interactions influence carbon storage and environmental resilience. As an advisor to Terraton, Kate brings deep scientific expertise in soil-carbon dynamics and a strategic perspective on deploying nature-based climate solutions.

Matt Flannery
